Bikini Jam Calls It A Wrap Harold Sokolove - PVNN
| Ujena Swimwear CEO/founder and Bikini Jam creator Bob Anderson has already announced plans for Bikini Jam 2007 in Puerto Vallarta: August 28th to September 3rd. | The 21st annual Ujena Swimwear Bikini Jam Week came to a flashy conclusion on Sunday night with its Bikini Image Model Award Show. The show took place at the NH Krystal Hotel and was co-hosted by comedian Brian Vermeire and model/actress Kristina Hughes.
As is the case with many award shows, this one included comedy routines, glitzy production numbers with live music, singers, dancers and a fashion show, featuring, of course, bikinis.
There were almost two dozen awards given to models and photographers from the 20 or so sponsors of the week long event, held for the first time in Puerto Vallarta.
The awards amounted to nearly $150,000 in cash and prizes. In addition to the cash awards, contracts with online and print media outlets were offered to models as well as all-expense-paid trips to photo shoot destinations around the world.
During the award acceptance speeches, many of the participants proclaimed how much they enjoyed their "working vacations" in Puerto Vallarta.
