Be a part of the inaugural Hook the Cure event, a Mercury Redboneฎ Series I.G.F.A.-qualifier team tuna and catch-and-release big-game offshore competition benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Set the tournament record and qualify for the 8th Annual 2007 I.G.F.A. Offshore Championship while helping the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation set records for beating Cystic Fibrosis.
Join us from October 26th-29th, 2006, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The Pacific Coast of Mexico is legendary for having one of the largest populations of tuna and billfish found anywhere and we're putting you in the thick of it. Ideally located off the 40-mile wide Banderas Bay, Puerto Vallarta offers some of the best sportfishing in the world. Don't miss this exciting experience!
The Hook the Cure Tournament offers al you'll need to lure record-setting tuna, billfish, mahi mahi (dorado), roosterfish and red snapper. Packages include 2 days of fishing aboard beautiful boats with everything from license to tackle to gourmet dining, oceanfront accommodations at the Villa Premiere Hotel and Spa with deluxe complimentary amenities, live entertainment, award ceremonies and Mayor's reception.
TOURNAMENT PACKAGES:
Entry into the 2-day tournament aboard meticulously maintained boats with bilingual crews. Includes local license, tackle, radio communications, box lunch and drinks.

TOURNAMENT PRICING:
Yellowfin Tuna - $2495 USD per angler. Includes full tournament package. Price based on one team of 2 persons aboard a 35' Bertram, 36' Alura, or comparable. $1045 of your donation is tax deductible.
Marlin - $1995 USD per angler. Includes full tournament package. Price based on 2 teams of 2 persons sharing a sportfisher. $945 of your donation is tax deductible.
Dorado - $600 USD per angler. For those with their own boat or access to a boat. Includes tournament entry, access to all parties and goodie bag only. $395 of your donation is tax deductible.
Sunfish - $995 USD per person. Not interested in fishing? Enjoy this spa package which includes all-inclusive hotel accommodations and amenities for 1 (based on double occupancy,) hotel spa certificate featuring their menu of indulgent treatments, and access to all of the parties. $445 of your donation is tax deductible.
