INARE Prepares for November Meeting recyclingtoday.com
Recyclers wishing to stay in touch with the secondary commodities industry in Mexico will have the chance to do so at the INARE Congress and Expo, taking place Nov. 16-17 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The 14th annual meeting of INARE (Instituto Nacional de Recicladores), a trade group of recyclers operating in Mexico, will offer sessions on a variety of topics and commodities, including recovered fiber, ferrous and nonferrous metals, plastics and electronic scrap.
According to long-time INARE member and Congress organizer Carlos Rovelo, attendees at this year’s show will also learn about an effort underway between officials in China, Mexico and the United States to expand the port of Lazaro Cardenas on Mexico’s Pacific Coast into a large-volume deep water container ship port.
Also this year, Rovelo is expecting a greater number of attendees from Central and South American nations, as INARE has extended an invitation to recyclers in many of those nations to attend the 14th Annual Congress.
The host hotel for the event is the Hotel Fiesta Americana in Puerto Vallarta.
More information on the INARE Congress can be obtained from Rovelo by e-mailing him at crovelo@aol.com. |
