Mexico Porn Rap
email this pageprint this pageemail usJorge Barrera - Sun Media

Mexican authorities have arrested a Canadian on suspicion of trying to make child pornography after three youths he was found with accused him of paying them to strip naked before a camera.

The Canadian is believed to be from Quebec and goes by the name of Serge Martineau, 60, according to a statement from Mexico's public safety secretariat.

RCMP Sgt. Martin Blais confirmed Martineau's arrest and said Canadian authorities were assisting. He said the RCMP became aware of the case after Mexican authorities contacted Interpol.

A spokesman from foreign affairs would not confirm the name, but said Mexican authorities informed Canadian officials of the arrest on Juesday.

"We are following up to offer assistance to the Canadian concerned. No other information can be released at this time," spokesman Alain Cacchione said.

Martineau, who is in Mexican custody, has yet to be charged and his case is being handled by a special sex crimes police unit.

AGES 14 TO 16

A post-arrest photo of Martineau was posted on the secretariat's web site. The date caption on the photo reads Jan. 16, 12:23 a.m.

Mexican authorities allege Martineau was found with three youths ages 14 to 16. The youths told police Martineau offered them 50 pesos each if they would go back to his residence to be filmed, photographed and touched. Authorities allege one of the youth accused Martineau of rubbing his inner thigh.

The youths also told police they were walking along the side of a road in Playa Pie de la Cuesta when Martineau stopped and "forced" them into his Chevy Lumina van, which had Quebec licence plates.

Playa Pie de la Cuesta is 15 km north of downtown Acapulco.

Federal police officers stopped Martineau's mini-van on the Tepic-Puente Talisman highway between Pie de la Cuesta and nearby Barra de Coyuca because it had tinted windows, the official statement said.

Martineau told police he was temporarily living in Coyuca de Benitiz, 35 km northwest of Acapulco, but held no documentation besides his Quebec driver's licence, according to the statement.
