| The winner of the Miss Puerto Vallarta 2007 Beauty Pageant will receive a cash prize of ten thousand pesos, while the runner-up and third place winner will get five and three thousand pesos, respectively.

On the evening of May 16th, eleven participants in the Miss Puerto Vallarta 2007 beauty pageant were introduced to the media. The winner will represent Puerto Vallarta at national and international events.
Organized by the municipality of Puerto Vallarta through the Public Relations Department, and sponsored in part by local businesses and organizations, the purpose of the pageant is to select a representative to be the face of Puerto Vallarta in both national and international events for one year.
The contest will consist of several stages, in which the contestants will compete in casual wear, swimsuits and evening gowns. The panel of judges will be made up of personalities from the fashion and beauty scene, and will grade the contestants on personality, grace, demeanor, physique and beauty, as well as knowledge of the municipality.
The winner of the Miss Puerto Vallarta 2007 Beauty Pageant will receive a cash prize of ten thousand pesos, while the runner-up and third place winner will get five and three thousand pesos, respectively. Other titles to be awarded by the judges will be Miss Congeniality, Miss Photogenic, and Revelation of the Year.
Participants are Martha Berenice Astudillo, Ericka Rubí Rivera, Liberia Viridiana Anaya Rodríguez, Belinda Coral Flores Tinajero, Alma Yadira Navarro Díaz, Ariana Monserrat Morales Lugo, Laura Almida Covarrubias, Miriam Jacqueline Rojas Vargas, Irma Verónica Morán Godoy, Alejandra Adaljisa López Pimienta y Adriana Gabriela Huaracha Gutiérrez.
The press conference was presided over by the Puerto Vallarta Director of Social Development, Salvador González Reséndiz, and the city's Head of Public Relations, José González Guerrero. |
