As one of the most popular and prestigious nightclubs in Mexico, Christine has always been a legendery nightspot in Puerto Vallarta. So what better place to showcase one of the most sensational Spanish Modern Rock Electronica bands of our times?
When thinking of Latin Techno-Pop, the first name that comes to mind is Moenia. The group is comprised of Alfonso Pichardo, keyboardist Jorge Soto and keyboardist/programmer Alexander "Midi" Ortega.
Often compared to New Order, Erasure, OMD, The Cure, and Depeche Mode, Moenia is popular within the Latin club scene while simultaneously pioneering a darker, more experimental and poetic side of Spanish-language electronica.
As part of the band's 2007 concert tour, named "Solar" after the album released in 2006 that follows a more 1980's electropop style, this internationally famous band will perform for one night only at Club Christine on Friday, June 29th, at 11:30 pm.
