Summer Art Shows at Galeria Octavio

Puerto Vallarta - Galeria Octavio is the only Puerto Vallarta art gallery that continues the tradition of celebrating the opening of new art exhibitions by hosting cocktail receptions throughout the summer season.
Best known for "Vallarta's Whale," the monumental bronze sculpture at the entrance of Marina Vallarta, sculptor Octavio Gonzalez brings artists and patrons together at his downtown art gallery, Galeria Octavio, on the last Saturday of every month.
This month Octavio and his staff welcome talented architect and painter, Humberto Otero Segura, who will be exhibiting a collection of charcoal drawings and watercolor paintings on Saturday, June 30th from 8-10 pm.
This will be Humberto's first art exhibit in Puerto Vallarta, having previously shown his works in M้xico, D.F., Ocozocoautla, Chiapas and Cuidad Juarez.
The gallery's talented house musician, JAG Mathew, will return from Guadalajara just in time to entertain guests at the art opening, giving you one more reason not to miss this captivating evening of culture, cocktails and camaraderie.
Whether you are an art aficionado or an amateur collector, one thing is for sure, an eclectic mix of new and old friends, art and artists will come together at Galeria Octavio on Saturday, June 30th from 8-10 pm.
