Calderon to Visit Belize Later this Month Newswire
| Said Musa, Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Finance of Belize | Mexican President, Felipe Calderon Hinojosa, is scheduled to make a state visit Belize later this month. President Calderon’s visit will coincide with the Ninth Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Tuxtla Mechanism meeting in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.
On Saturday, June 30, President Calderon will pay a courtesy call on the Governor General, Sir Colville Young, and will meet with Prime Minister, Said Musa and other Senior Government officials to discuss topics.
These include border security, bilateral trade, cooperation between our two countries, education, the Belize-Guatemala relations and military assistance.
Thereafter President Calderon will meet with the business community and will take part in a joint Belize-Mexico news conference.
During his visit, Prime Minister Musa will confer on President Calderon, the Order of Belize distinction. |
