Puerto Vallarta Healthcare Resource News Pamela Thompson - PVNN
I hope that this newsletter finds you staying cool, wherever you are. It certainly is not cool here in Puerto Vallarta! This is no longer Hospital Cornerstone Newsletter, it is now the Healthcare Resource Puerto Vallarta Newsletter.
Yes, I have gone independent and I am thrilled! (Overwhelmed, scared, excited as well!) This has been a dream of mine for several years, to create a resource center, independent of any specific healthcare institution. By doing this, we can work with all local facilities and physicians.
Our list of services will include:
• Physician Referrals - Just like before! And no, there will never be a charge for this service! • HomeCare Services • Insurance Resource Center - with an onsite person to assist with insurance questions, insurance sales for both national and international insurances • Packages - For example, maybe you need a hernia operation. After matching the person up with the best physician, we can offer several surgery options-locations. • Speakers Program - We will offer a huge variety of speakers programs! Normally no charge unless I bring someone in from outside of Mexico. • International patient assistance - Medical Tourism is becoming much more popular, from hip replacements to plastic surgery. Working in conjunction with several Medical Tourism companies, we hope to increase the amount of patients coming to Puerto Vallarta for their surgeries. • Special Diagnostic Packages - including Breast Health Program, Osteoporosis Program, Skin Clinic to name only a few! • In-Hospital assistance, in English! (no charge) • And much, much more!
Our new office is still under construction but will be located in Fluvial with very easy access off of Francisco Villa - and parking! Our website is still under construction as well, but in the meantime, you can reach us at (322) 222-9638 or 044-322-107-7007, or via email at pmt15@hotmail.com.
We are so lucky to live in an area that has state-of-the-art medical services, and we look forward to serving the Puerto Vallarta community in providing the very best in healthcare services.
WHAT ELSE IS NEW?
Bariatric Surgery - I had this on May 14th, and I just wonder why I waited so long! I am down 42 lbs and feel like a new woman! If anyone is interested, even just a tiny bit curious, please contact me via email at pmt15@hotmail.com.
Colonoscopy Time - Not a test anyone really wants to do, but it is SO important! Special price for the summer. Get it over with! Contact me for information. Anyone over the age of 50 who has no family history of colon cancer, no personal history of inflammatory bowel disease and denies any possible signs or symptoms of colon cancer is considered at average risk for developing colon cancer.
Charity Things - The Street Boys Shelter (www.newlifemexico.com) is in desperate need of BOXER SHORTS for the boys. All sizes. And as always, backpacks, school supplies, short white ankle socks - email me for the complete list.
Gifts that Give - Look for the big announcement late summer of the fantastic sale featuring handmade items from various organizations that employ local Mexican women. Purses to keychains, this will be your one-stop-shopping for Christmas gifts! Very much needed: Plastic bags, magnets, Velcro, wood scraps, glue guns, paintbrushes, old jewelry, beads, ribbon, old maps, magazines - any craft supplies.
I do hope that wherever you are this summer, you are happy, healthy and cool! Those of us here year-round miss those that are gone, and we look forward to your safe return! In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or comments. I look forward to hearing from you! pmt15@hotmail.com |
