Banderas Bay Bikers Help Kids Go Back to School PVNN
Puerto Vallarta - Since "Back to School" time can be difficult for children whose families cannot afford school supplies, a group of Banderas Bay bikers who share a common love for choppers and children are sponsoring a school supply drive to help local kids get back to school with the supplies they need.
Every year, many children in the Banderas Bay area do not attend school because they cannot afford school supplies, while thousands of others go to school without the basics - paper, pens, pencils and other items necessary for their education.
These students need our help, so on Saturday July 14th, starting at 2 pm, Puerto Vallarta Choppers, along with the local motorcycle club "Los Piratas" and Eclipse Azteca Tattoos, will be hosting a School Supply Drive to collect school supplies for local children and families in need.
Giving Puerto Vallarta businesses, volunteers, families and visitors the opportunity to help make our children ready to learn by being ready for school, this promises to be a fun-filled community event that allows us to create lasting change in our community by investing in our children.
Puerto Vallarta Choppers owner, Rafael Velez, is setting up a "back-to-school" donation box to be filled with backpacks, notebooks, school supplies, stationery - in short all of the things needed to help underprivileged children put their best foot forward at the beginning of the new school year.
All motorcycle enthusiasts are welcome - even if you don't have a bike! There will also be door prizes, drawings, music, food, cool T-shirts, a Tattoo Artist on site so you can get that tattoo you always wanted at a great price, and beautiful babes will be offering bikini bike washes at special rates. Admission is free. There will also be a "back-to-school" donation box at The Treehouse Bar & Grill (formerly Miguelito's) on the south side of Puerto Vallarta at Basilio Badillo #287. For more information, call Lori at 223-1263.
If you are interested in learning more about the School Supply Drive, or would like to make a donation, please call Rafael or Denise Velez at (322) 297-6469 or stop by Puerto Vallarta Choppers (next to Farmacia de Guadalajara) at CARR. Tepic #996 in Nuevo Vallarta. Visit the website at PVChoppers.com. |
