Mexico v. Brazil, Copa America, June 27, 2007 (ISI)
Mexico's 2007 U.S. Tour continues with two upcoming matches.

The Mexican National Team announced its final two stops on its U.S. 2007 Tour on Tuesday by revealing matches against both Brazil in China.

Mexico will face the world’s top-ranked team and five-time World Cup champion at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA on September 12 (Telemundo, 8:00 p.m. ET). Since the game falls on an official FIFA international fixture date, Brazil is expected to call up many of its well-known superstars, including Ronaldinho, Kaka and Robinho.

It will mark the 34th meeting between the two sides. Brazil has dominated the series with 19-9-6 record through its 50-year history. However, Mexico has defeated Brazil in its last two encounters, including its victory this past summer in the Copa America.

The last time that Mexico played in Foxboro was in 1997 in a 2-2 tie against Steve Sampson’s U.S. National Team in a World Cup qualifier.

Mexico wraps up their tour a month later against China at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on October 17. It will mark only the third meeting between the two countries, with Mexico having won the first two games (3-2 in March 1987 in Mexico; 3-0 in November 1993 in San Diego, Calif.)

The last time that Mexico played in Southern California was in May 2006, when they defeated Venezuela in front of more than 50,000 fans at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
