CasaMagna PV Helps Clean Up the World

Puerto Vallarta - In support of Clean Up the World Weekend, a worldwide effort to inspire communities to "clean up, fix up and conserve their local environment," CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & SPA associates got together last Saturday morning to clean up Boca Negra Beach.
Now in its 15th year, Clean Up the World, held in conjunction with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and celebrated globally on the 3rd weekend of September, mobilizes over 35 million volunteers from more than 120 countries annually, making it one of the largest community-based environmental campaigns in the world.
The campaign brings together businesses, community groups, schools, governments and individuals in a variety of activities and programs ranging from waste removal and tree planting to water and energy conservation projects.
CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & SPA associates, concerned about the environment and the community in which they live, decided to join the campaign and contribute with the cleaning of the beach.
The associates who attended worked hard to clean up the beach, but of course they also had fun while they were at it. Some of the volunteers even brought their children along. The kids joyfully filled their black garbage bags with cups, plastic 6 pack rings, plastic bags and nets.
At the end of the day, several of the CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & SPA associates commented that they enjoyed the well-deserved feeling of pleasure and personal satisfaction that comes from helping make the world a better place for their children and the community of Puerto Vallarta.
Marriott Preocupado por el Medio Ambiente, Colabora con el Programa Clean Up the World (Limpia el Mundo)
Puerto Vallarta - Los asociados del CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & SPA unieron esfuerzos el sábado 15 de septiembre para apoyar el programa mundial Limpia al Mundo.
Como cada año después de 15 consecutivos en el tercer fin de semana de septiembre, el programa Clean Up the World (Limpia al Mundo) de origen australiano, convoca a cualquiera que desee hacer una diferencia en el mundo a apoyar el programa a través de actividades como la limpieza de sitios en la comunidad.
Los asociados del CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & SPA, preocupados por el medio ambiente y la comunidad vallartense, decidieron unirse al programa y contribuir limpiando la playa Boca Negra.
Aquellos que atendieron el evento trabajaron arduamente para juntar la basura y depositarla en bolsas para su recolección, pero claro también hubo diversión. Algunos de los asociados llevaron a sus hijos. Los niños colaboraron con sus padres felizmente y llenaron sus bolsas de botes de refrescos, redes, bolsas de plástico y otras cosas que encontraban en la playa y lo hacían con una gran sonrisa.
Al final del día los asociados del CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & SPA comentaron que terminaron su labor altruista con un sentimiento de satisfacción personal al poder ayudar a hacer de Puerto Vallarta un lugar más limpio para sus hijos y la comunidad.
Se espera que el año entrante la comunidad en general se una a esta noble labor y se puedan abarcar más espacios, para así hacer de Puerto Vallarta un lugar más limpio. |
