If you have a seafaring soul, a new website for Mexico boating, BoatMexico.Com is where you will find critical, up-to-date information not only to make your Mexico voyage planning more efficient and safe, but to warm your sailing south soul.
BoatMexico.com is a membership website based in Puerto Vallarta to assist all member boaters planning to navigate in Mexican waters. Their internet site provides centralized boat communications, information, and boat plan submissions.
A frequently updated introductory webpage at www.BoatMexico.com is now online and has been accepting pre-registrations since September. Developers are busy preparing the full website for your use this season, with full operation and enrollment availability expected by the latter part of November 2007.
The new website will feature LOFTS to provide boaters with current information and vital communications, including:
Message Center Loft allows private inter-boat communications without having to know an email address. A boat name, home port, or Captain's name (first, last or both) will connect you. Messaging to any or all other boats in your port, region or all of Mexico can target the right people to resolve problems or provide information.
The Buy/Sell/Trade Loft makes parts and equipment, or the space they occupy available to users. Crew Loft matches boats with crews. All of this is included in the annual membership fee.
Boat Plans using BoatMexico.com's Trip Tracker provide for automated communications to all member boats of overdue boats and facilitate emergency authority notification.
Medical information provided by their Traveler's Medicine Specialist doctor will provide vital information about staying healthy in the tropics and while cruising. Other Lofts include Events Calendar, Radio, Maintenance, Immigration & Customs, Fishing, Landlubbers, and Fotos & Fun.
