Boca Bento Opens for the Season

To celebrate the restaurant's reopening for the season, Boca Bento owner and chief entertainer, Stewart Haverlack, recently treated a group of friends to an evening of "Latin Flavors with an Asian Soul," presenting a menu of the most deliciously tantalizing tastes to delight the palate, including:
• Chipotle Caesar Salad
• Thai Style Chile Crusted Calamari
• Adobo Prawns with Grilled Five Spice Pineapple
• Szechwan Wonton Purses with Poblano Cream Sauce
• Tequila Lobster Bisque
• Chipotle-Honey Glazed Ribs with Peruvian Potato Salad
With flowing curtains, subtle lighting and hand-painted wall murals, the restaurant's atmosphere is one of dreamy relaxation with a touch of Asian mysticism.
Boca Bento is a delightful place not only to enjoy food but to relax in the newly remodeled bar that affords a view of the passers-by. Although I am not sure who is watching whom. With the humidity lessening the open-air restaurant is an extremely comfortable place to while away your dining hours.
The restaurant is also a staunch supporter of the community, as attested to by the awards for charitable works to our pueblo that adorn the walls.
Monika Haverlack runs a tight ship at Boca Bento and her hand-picked staff have been well-trained to be attentive to every need of each and every diner. On this evening, the servers were Jorge, Ulises, Alejandro, Alberto and Iris. In the middle of everything is the driving force at getting tasks completed, Shani Ledah. Her attention to detail rounds out the already well-oiled machine of this establishment.
Monika smiled for the camera along with Alta Velser of Mama Mia and Robert Dry Vacation Rental Manager of Administradora de La Bahia. Other attendees included Coco & Vanessa, who produce the eye opening tasty breakfast at Boca Bento, and Paco Sotomayor of Globe Food and Café Due.
Also enjoying the evening of fine dining were Ignacio & Amanda Aguirre from Residencias Molino de Agua and Malena Lewis-Bravo, who is currently busy remodeling her home. A group of doctors, who shall remain nameless, filled a table, and Puerto Vallarta gossip says they sipped their cocktails until 4 am.
Sequestered away in one of the back banquet rooms was a bachelorette party. The ladies were well-behaved after what was obviously a long day at the beach. Remember Boca Bento for your next private party. The separate banquet rooms will make you feel pampered beyond belief.
