My big plans to have the October Newsletter and calendar out in mid-September obviously fell through! Putting HealthCare Resources together on paper, in action, in place - and the thousands of other details have kept things going non-stop.
The days blend together and here we are at the cusp of the high season! Future months will bring many more speakers, clinics and programs but here we go for October!

Caregiver Support Group
Are you a care giver to your spouse or other family member? Please consider joining this new support group featuring a wide variety of topics and speakers to assist you in many aspects of your day to day life. Lead by a psychotherapist and limited to a small group, this might be the respite time you are in need of. No charge.
Bariatric Surgery Information
This is a very sensitive subject for many people. Rather than attending a group meeting, if you are interested in finding out more about bariatric surgery, please let me know and we can sit down and have a chat in person. I am now down 37 kilos, since May 14 and am happy to shout it from the roof tops!
Colonoscopy Screening For The Average Risk Patient
Anyone over the age of 50 who has no family history of colon cancer, no personal history of inflammatory bowel disease and denies any possible signs or symptoms of colon cancer is considered at average risk for developing colon cancer. It's not something that you really want to do, but it is something you should do. Our special price continues in October.
Give a Helping Hand
As always, there are so many in need and our Wish List continues to grow. Please email me for a complete list. At this time, we are requesting for the new Teen Pregnancy Program blankets (large) and pillows. The Street Boys are in need of boxers, white socks, T-shirts and sweat pants. Also needed for several charities are sewing materials, old magazines, magnets, glue guns, craft supplies - to sum it up - anything you don't need, give me a call!

What Is HealthCare Resources?
We are a full service health resource center. We offer physician referrals (no charge), scheduling of diagnostic procedures, Insurance Resource Center, Home Health Services, International Patient Services (coordinating people coming from the US and Canada for surgical procedures), Speaker's Program, Support Groups, Clinics - just about anything that has to do with healthcare in Puerto Vallarta.
How much do you charge?
Referrals are at no charge. Insurance information is at no charge. Prices vary for Home Health Services. The majority of Speakers Programs are free.
