Relatives and social workers have taken to the streets in Oaxaca, Mexico demanding a crackdown on the sexual abuse of children.

A local humanitarian organization says their are no official figures but an independent investigation confirmed 10 cases of rape of girls under 13 years of age.

But, because of cultural pressures, the organization estimates that for every one reported rape 7 go unreported.

Lindsay Claiborn reports.
