| Puerto Vallarta - PV Scuba is proud to announce the reception of PADI’s prestigious Gold Palm 5-Star Resort rating. One-of-a-kind education and dive options as well as superior facilities have helped PV Scuba achieve recognition as one of only two dive centers to earn this rating in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The PADI Gold Palm membership level is awarded to PADI Dive Centers that offer quality accommodations and excel in providing divers with a full range of diver education programs, equipment selection, and experience opportunities.
PV Scuba is located on site at the Howard Johnson Hotel Nautilus Vallarta, which not only makes it the only local dive center to offer a ten-foot deep scuba pool and Olympic length swimming pool for certification and training, but also allows them to offer convenient diving and accommodation packages.
To better service serious and recreational divers alike, PV Scuba recently added a range of new, name brand equipment, including wetsuits in women’s sizes, to equip their newest addition, a 33-ft dive boat with seating for fifteen divers and gear, which departs from a private dock on the dive center's premises.
"We are excited to be able to offer the fastest dive boat in Puerto Vallarta," says Alejandro Vega, Founder and Director of PV Scuba. "Some of our best dive locations are far away, so we need a fast boat to get us there quickly. All of our improvements are designed to give divers more convenience and longer dive times."
Founded in 2004, PV Scuba is dedicated to giving personal attention and excellence in dive training and dive excursions. They also offer Nitrox services for advanced divers, and with its new 100 cubic foot steel tanks, dive times will be significantly lengthened.
