(Reuters/Tomas Bravo) | Mexico City - A dump truck packed with coffee pickers skidded off a road in the Mexican state of Puebla and plunged into a shallow ravine, killing at least 19 people, a Red Cross official said on Monday.
The truck was carrying between 80 and 85 people to coffee plantations on the mountains of Puebla when the driver lost control on a curve and fell about 15 feet into the ravine.
"The truck ended up upside down. It squashed the people," Red Cross coordinator Baldomero Azua told Reuters.
