Botanical Gardens Noche de las Luminarias

On Thursday, February 21st, the Puerto Vallarta Botanical Gardens will host "Noche de las Luminarias," or "Night of Light Party," coordinated with a full moon. This, our second annual "Members Appreciation Night," will feature live music, great food, and an open bar. The party is free for all members (single member plus one guest) and is available to all non-members, for a donation of $45 US per person.
Party hours are 6-10 pm. Complimentary round trip transportation from Puerto Vallarta to the Gardens will be provided, if you wish. Look for the El Tuito bus labeled "Puerto Vallarta Botanical Gardens Party" on the corner of Aguacate and Carranza Streets in the Romantic Zone. The bus will start leaving for the Gardens at 4 pm, and continue departing round trip every half hour until the party is over.
This celebration is for all the wonderful people that help make the gardens bloom, and will include a fashion show and auction. We are asking your help in providing donations for the auction.
Examples:
• A one night stay at a hotel
• A week-end for two at a hotel
• Dinner for two at a restaurant
• A dinner cruise in the bay
• Gift Certificate for a Vallarta store or to a special event
• Yoga or salsa dance lessons
The donation can be from any merchant, hotel, restaurant, or condo that you have a connection with - it does not have to be in Puerto Vallarta (many members will be migrating north around April or so.) We welcome any other ideas for suitable prizes. As the date approaches watch for an announcement on the auction prizes.
Also, we are having a sombrero contest for members and guests. Bring your own decorated sombrero - we will provide a donkey. Photos will be taken, and prizes will be given for the best decorated sombreros.
