AOL Launches Spanish-Language Site
Jeff Clabaugh - Baltimore Business Journal go to original
AOL has launched a Spanish-language site for Mexican users to help build its advertiser base in Latin America.
AOL.com.mx includes email, instant messaging and localized Spanish news and content. It has partnered with Mexican telecom Alestra for distribution and Grupo Editorial Expansion for content.
AOL will continue adding content and features in the next few months, the company said in a statement.
Magazine publisher Group Editorial Expansion operates an online business news site with CNN, called CNN Expansion. CNN and AOL are both owned by Time Warner, Inc. (NYSE: TWX).
AOL will draw on that content for its new Mexican site. |
