Gabriel's Birthday = Gifts for PV School
email this pageprint this pageemail usPVNN

This picture was taken the last time we brought supplies to the Alfredo V. Bonfil School. (Gabriel is on the right, in the front row with his arm around his little brother, Brandon.)

According to Banana Cantina restaurant owners Debbi & Mike Egan, "Local Celebrity Nights just keep getting better and better!"

Every Wednesday night this popular Puerto Vallarta restaurant not only hosts a celebrity guest, whose goal is to raise money for their favorite local charity, but also donates 10% of the night's dinner sales to the chosen charity.

On March 5th, Gabriel will be 10 years old. Gabriel is the reason Banana Cantina became involved with the Alfredo V. Bonfil School back in 2006. This year, Gabriel asked that his school be Banana Cantina's chosen charity on his birthday because they need so much.

Over the years, it has been very fulfilling for everyone who has been involved with Banana Cantina's efforts to raise money for the school - from the local businesses such as PVRPV and Mama Dolores Diner to all of the customers that have brought bags, boxes and backpacks filled with needed items, bought raffle tickets and made donations.

Be sure to stop by Banana Cantina from 7-10 pm on Wednesday, March 5th as we celebrate Gabriel's birthday and raise much needed funds for the school. Debbi & Mike are hoping that guest host Gib of Vacation Rentals & Concierge Service will be there on time, as he is always so busy checking in guests and making sure they are satisfied.

Banana Cantina Local Celebrity Nights are VERY popular, so reservations are necessary. To make your reservations, call (322) 222-2114 or send an email to pvbananacantina(at)aol.com. For more information about the restaurant, visit BananaCantina.com.
