Riviera Nayarit Highway System Underway

Nayarit Governor Ney Manuel González Sánchez recently reported that the distance between the Puerto Vallarta airport and all of Riviera Nayarit will be considerably shorter because they are ready to award the construction bid to the winning company for the construction, operation and development of a new highway system, which would benefit their "older sister" (Puerto Vallarta) with an investment of over 7.8 billion pesos.
During an interview with Vallarta Vive, Governor Ney González said, "as a matter of fact, the bid was awarded just after eight pm on March 3, 2008. It entails a highway system that will be built in four stretches, for example a stretch of highway from Tepic to Bucerías which will be comprised of a four lane highway, allowing drivers to reduce the travel time by one hour between Bucerías and the Capital city of this State.
The highway will not necessarily begin in Tepic but closer to the main highway towards Guadalajara, which will allow those traveling in from México City, the bajio and from Guadalajara towards the Bay of Banderas and Puerto Vallarta, instead of traveling down from Chapalilla as is the current case. Now one will be able to reach the coast from the outskirts of Tepic. It's true that this will be a longer route, however, drivers will be able to save more time and travel on a safer and faster highway."
As such, he indicated that this would benefit Puerto Vallarta in particular.
"This is very good for the Riviera Nayarit because the highway will pass by all the beaches, but it is also very good for Puerto Vallarta because it will provide a faster travel time. It is also very good for Tequila, Guadalajara and for Zacatecas because the driving distances will be shorter. This includes those that are arriving by air, because they will be able to rent a car and drive to experience all the corners of the region as well as the entire Republic of México. We are all México and the destination itself is México."
On the other hand, the Governor of Nayarit also announced that this year, they will be building three overhead off-ramps at the cross-points in Nuevo Vallarta, Mescalez and Bucerías, and this will also directly benefit Puerto Vallarta.
Insured Development
According to government sources in Nayarit, the investment for the Nayarit highway system will surpass 7.8 billion pesos, and on March 24th, the construction of the highway system is scheduled to commence, at least the first stretch, which will start in Tepic towards San Blas.
C&C Ingeniería y Proyectos, S.A. de C.V. will be the company in charge of construction, operations, conservation and maintenance of the four highway stretches, as well as the development of three executive projects with State jurisdiction of the highest specifications; the project is named Sistema Carretero de la Riviera Nayarit (The Riviera Nayarit Highway System.)
These stretches are: Tepic-San Blas; Tepic-Compostela; Compostela-Las Varas and Las Varas-Bucerías, and they are also planning the construction of at least nine traffic nodes, almost one thousand three hundred linear meters of viaducts, thirteen vehicle passes and 40 bridges - as well as landscaping and system supplements.
The date of completion is estimated to be September 19, 2010, or 910 working days.
The benefits that will derive from this Project are; at least, 44 high-end tourist developments, including six golf courses and four marinas, which together are estimated to generate an approximate 2.9 billion dollars in investments for the State.
The first stretch to be constructed will be Tepic-San Blas, and will stretch 34.6 kilometers in length; this is a type A-2 highway, or a two lane highway measuring 7 meters wide and 12 meters wide from edge to edge. The projected speed limit for the project is 110 Kilometers per hour with an estimated driving time of 20 minutes.
It will contain a 5% grade and the type of pavement that will be used will be asphalt.
In accordance with the laws of Public-Private Corporations and Public Works regulations for the Government of Nayarit, the invitations to bid on this important Project were published on December 17, 2007.
Thirteen participants were invited to bid on the project, ten local and three foreign. These then formed three partnerships that presented the same amount of proposals.
After a long verification process, the winning Project was announced, and as such, on the evening of March 3rd, C&C Ingeniería y Proyectos, S.A. de C.V. was lawfully selected to develop the Sistema Carretero de la Riviera Nayarit as well as the initial compensation of $10 million pesos.

Se Reducirá una Hora el Tiempo de Recorrido Entre Puerto Vallarta y Tepic

El gobernador del estado de Nayarit, Ney Manuel González Sánchez, dio a conocer a empresarios hoteleros y agencias de viajes mayoristas que las distancias entre el aeropuerto de Puerto Vallarta y toda la Riviera Nayarit se acortarán considerablemente porque está listo el fallo a la empresa ganadora de la construcción, operación y explotación del sistema carretero, lo cual, destacó, beneficiará además a la “hermana mayor” que es Puerto Vallarta con una inversión superior a los 7 mil 803 millones de pesos.
En entrevista para Vallarta Vive el gobernador Ney González señaló que "efectivamente, pasadas las ocho de la noche de este lunes se resolvió el fallo. Se trata de un sistema carretero de cuatro tramos, el cual por ejemplo de Tepic a Bucerías que será una carretera de cuatro carriles, nos permitirá quitarle una hora al recorrido que se hace entre Bucerías y la capital del estado; que la carretera no saldrá exactamente de la capital del estado, sino de la maxipista hacia Guadalajara, realmente muy cerca de Tepic, lo que va a permitir, que quien venga del DF, del bajío o Guadalajara hacía Bahía de Banderas y Puerto Vallarta, que en lugar de bajar por Chapalilla como se hace hasta ahora, baje a la costa casi llegando a Tepic; si bien se va a recorrer un poco más, se va a ahorrar mucho tiempo y estará circulando en una carretera segura y mucho mas ágil."
Asimismo, destacó el beneficio que representará para Puerto Vallarta particularmente.
"Esto es muy bueno para Riviera Nayarit porque la carretera vendrá por todas las playas, pero también es muy bueno para Puerto Vallarta porque tendrá una mayor agilidad en su comunicación. Y estará muy bueno para Tequila, para Guadalajara, para Zacatecas porque las distancias se acortarán. O incluso para quienes lleguen vía aérea, podrán rentar un auto e irse a conocer los diferentes rincones de la región y de la República Mexicana. Todos somos México y el destino se llama México."
Por otro lado, el gobernador de Nayarit desde Nuevo Vallarta también anunció que serán construidos en este año tres pasos a desnivel en los cruceros de Nuevo Vallarta, Mezcalez y Bucerías, lo que también beneficiará directamente a Puerto Vallarta.
Desarrollo Asegurado
De acuerdo con información del gobierno del estado de Nayarit, la inversión para el sistema carretero de Nayarit será superior a los 7 mil 803 millones de pesos, y el próximo 24 de marzo dará inicio la construcción del sistema carretero al menos en su primer tramo que corresponderá de Tepic hacia el puerto de San Blas.
Será la empresa C&C Ingeniería y Proyectos, S.A. de C.V, la encargada de construir, operar, explotar, conservar y mantener cuatro tramos carreteros, así como de elaborar tres proyectos ejecutivos de las carreteras de altas especificaciones de jurisdicción estatal denominado Sistema Carretero de la Riviera Nayarit.
Los tramos son: Tepic-San Blas; Tepic-Compostela; Compostela-Las Varas, y Las Varas-Bucerías, para lo cual está prevista la construcción de hasta nueve nodos viales, hasta mil 300 metros lineales de viaductos, trece pasos vehiculares y 40 puentes, así como las obras complementarias y accesorias del sistema.
La fecha de finalización está contemplada para el 19 de septiembre de 2010, es decir, el plazo de ejecución es de hasta 910 días naturales.
Los beneficios que provocará esta obra son, al menos, 44 desarrollos turísticos de alto nivel, incluyendo seis campos de golf y cuatro marinas, que en conjunto generarán una inversión aproximada de 2 mil 994 millones de dólares en el estado.
El primer tramo a construir es Tepic-San Blas, con una longitud de 34.6 kilómetros; es una carretera tipo A-2, es decir, un carril por sentido, con un ancho de calzada de 7 metros y un ancho de corona de 12 metros. La velocidad de proyecto es de 110 kilómetros por hora, lo que da un tiempo de recorrido estimado en 20 minutos.
Se tiene una pendiente máxima del 5 por ciento y el tipo de pavimento será concreto asfáltico.
Basado en la Ley de Asociaciones Público-Privadas y en la Ley de Obra Pública del Gobierno de Nayarit se lanzó la licitación para este importante proyecto, el 17 de diciembre de 2007.
Se invitó a 13 participantes, diez locales y tres foráneos, al proyecto. Éstos formaron tres consorcios que presentaron el mismo número de propuestas.
Después de un largo proceso de revisión, se determinó el proyecto ganador, por lo que la noche de este lunes se declaró como licitante seleccionado para ejecutar el Sistema Carretero de la Riviera Nayarit a la empresa C&C Ingeniería y Proyectos, S.A. de C.V., con una contraprestación inicial a otorgar por la cantidad de 10 millones de pesos. |
