| Local performer Mikki Prost will manage the theater for Ann Marie. T.J. Hartung, with local theater background, also will help out Mikki. | | A new owner, Ann Marie Daminus, takes over Santa Barbara Theater, 351 Olas Altas, effective April 1, 2008.
She previously has performed and directed shows, including Phantom of the Opry, (not Sol Rose's Phantom of the Opera), a couple of years ago. Local performer Mikki Prost will manage the theater for Ann Marie. T.J. Hartung, with local theater background, also will help out Mikki.
Some shows will run during April. Mikki will be performing Fever on four consecutive Thursdays, starting April 3rd. Always Patsy Cline will run on Fridays, beginning April 11th, and Sol Rose will perform in Siempre Sol on Saturdays April 5th, 12th and 19th.
Bingo will most likely continue on Tuesdays throughout the summer, and a fundraiser is planned in May to fund scholarships for performing arts students.
