On Saturday May 3rd, a Swingin' 60's party to benefit the SPCA of PV will be held at Casa Kimberly. Don't miss your opportunity to take one last look at Liz Taylor's and Richard Burton's former home before it becomes a luxury boutique hotel.

What: Cocktails, delicious hors d’oeuvres and deejay dancing to 60's music at Liz Taylor’s and Richard Burton’s former home. Come take a last look at Casa Kimberly before it becomes one of Janice Chatterton’s luxury boutique hotels in 2010.

When: Saturday, May 3rd from 6-10 pm. At 7:30 pm there will be an auction of one exciting item only - the first overnight stay at Casa Kimberly plus dinner for two at the glamorous Casa Kimberly restaurant.

Where: Casa Kimberly, Gringo Gulch, Puerto Vallarta

Why: To benefit SPCA de PV (Sociedad Protectora y Compasiva por los Animales de Puerto Vallarta)

How Much: $500 pesos per person donation to the SPCA de PV

Dress: Fashionable, or as your favorite movie star

The mission of SPCA de PV is to help fund and promote sterilization, adoption and health care efforts for companion animals in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals. Monies raised will support these various goals in ways that are most feasible within the community.

This event is being entirely underwritten by Janice Chatterton, owner of Hacienda San Angel and Treasurer of the SPCA de PV.

Space is limited, so tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets and auction item may be paid by check or cash only. For more information, contact Gretchen Dewitt at gretchen.dewitt(at)gmail.com.
