Jose "El Rayo" Uribe controlling his opponent in the final round of the main event,a Vale Todo (anything goes) bout.

"El Rayo" has his hand raised after a unanimous victory in the main event.

Yajaira "La Princesita" Manzanarez,a 16 year old followed in her Dad's footsteps winning and completley dominating her opponent in her first fight.

Intense and aggressive American Jimmy Haynes showed his dominance on the mat in his unanimous decision, running his Vale Todo record to a perfect 5-0.

What would a night of fights be in Puerto Vallarta without the kids fighting. The two four year olds were both declred winners by referee Aramnado Tapia.

Santiago "Dragon" Manzanarez promoted his first big card in Vale Todo (UFC style) and Muay Thai as 11 fighters from his gym competed in amateur fights before a packed house at the Collage Club Saturday night.

Manzanarez is an accomplished fighter and a world champion in kick boxing and a Mexican champion in Muay Thai. After 9 of his 11 fighters won their bouts, the Dragon proved himself a superb trainer as well.

The only fight that Manzanarez wasn't involved in was the main event; a Vale Todo professional fight between Puerto Vallarta star Jose "El Rayo" Uribe who defeated Adrian Delgado of Leon, Guanajuato in a unanimous decision. Uribe was the better fighter both on his feet and on the mat, but Delgado was extremely competitive.

The undercard has a number of competitive fights, 3 vale Todo and 8 Muay Thai bouts. A big fight that Manzanarez took great pride in was his 16 year old daughter's debut. Yajaira "La Princesita" Manzanarez came out throwing powerful punches and strong, accurate kicks against Wendi Peña also of Puerto Vallarta and it appeared that Peña might not survive the opening round but was able to go the distance as Manzanarez easily won a unanimous decision.

There were three fights that served as co-main events. Josue Ruelas from the Manzanarez Round Dragon Gym improved to 7-1 in Muay Thai with an impressive 1st round knockout against Ramon Anguiano of Guadalajara and was managed by Francisco Ayon who recently signed a contract to compete in New York with the hopes of reaching pay per view fights from Las Vegas.

Jonatan Carvantes of Lanna Gym and managed by Carlos Solorio was one of the only two fighters that prevented a Dragon sweep by defeating Eduardo Hernandez in a close split decision victory in a Muay Thai event.

Popular American Jimmy Haynes, a 15 year Greco Roman wrestler and a former Kansas champion has moved to Vale Todo fights under the tutelage of Manzanarez and battled undefeated Raul Rodriguez of Aguascalientes. Rodriguez got the better of Haynes while standing but Jimmy quickly took his opponent to the mat in each round and dominated with his wrestling background. Haynes improved to 5-0 in Vale Todo fights.

There were two kids' bouts, one with 7 and 8 year olds and a crowd pleaser between two 4 year olds, both of the Dragon Gym. It was a successful night for "The Dragon" and his gym and the full house enjoyed the superb competition and quality of the bouts.
