Santiago "Dragon" Manzanarez, World champion in kick boxing, Mexican champion in Muay Thai and owner and Professor of the Dragon Manzanarez Gym is now also a promoter. His first full card will be at the Collage, Saturday, March 19th at 8:00 pm.

There are 12 fights; the main event is the only professional bout which pits Jose "El Rayo" Uribe in a "Vale Todo" or UFC style fight against Adrian Delgado of Leon. Both are new to Vale Todo and are unbeaten. The card will have 5 Vale Todo fights and 7 Muay Thai matches.

A featured bout will pit American Jimmy Haynes, originally from Kansas against Salvador Martines of Aguascalientes in a Vale Todo bout. Both are undefeated and should move into the professional ranks soon and a victory will speed up that process.

Manzanarez who will not fight but will have his students in all 12 bouts will be in the corner for every fight. Of special pride, his 16 year old daughter Yajaira "La Princesita" will be making her debut in a Muay Thai match.

Tickets will be available at the door and the cost is 150 pesos for adults, 50 pesos for kids and free for kids under five. For more information call the gym at 299-0470 - but be ready to speak Spanish.
