Your donation of only $20 USD will give one underprivileged child the chance to enjoy four fun-filled weeks of entertaining and educational activities, including arts and crafts, music, dancing and computer classes as well as outdoor games, swimming and daily excursions on the Children of the Dump bus to restaurants, hotels, businesses and tourist venues throughout the Puerto Vallarta area, along with a hot breakfast and a sandwich for lunch.
Some volunteers have already offered to help operate the camp and provide vehicles to move the children around, but cash donations to help cover the daily expenses for food, activities, gas and supplies for the various activities are still needed. Around $2000 USD in donations are needed to fund this year's School of Champions summer camp - and volunteers are always needed.
If you would like to help make a difference in a child's life, send your US tax deductible donation to:

These unfortunate children need to have fun this summer. Your donation of only $20 USD will help us make a difference in the life of a child. Instead of being stuck at home with the dust and heat and nothing to do, or even worse, sent to work, they can spend a fun-filled month at the School of Champions Summer Camp.

The Children of the Dump was founded in 1998, originally as Feed the Children Vallarta. Through private donations, the program feeds more than 2,300 children daily, operates nine day care centers and an after-school program for grades 3 through 6; teaching them English, math and computers. The goal of the Children of the Dump is to ensure education through grade nine and to educate the children of Puerto Vallarta in the skills necessary to rise above poverty.
