Red Fury Break Down Belarus Wall
Beach Soccer Worldwide go to original

| Amarelle scored two goals in Spain's opening game (Manuel Queimadelos) | | After 5 days of Dubai excitement, the European teams have kicked off their road to Marseille today (May 11) at Benidorm's "Playa de Levante", where an historical number of 24 teams will battle for four berths to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2008 that will be played from July 17-27.
Host Spain won their first game 0-5 against a very surprising Belarus side. The Red Fury started a little nervous to their outset of the Benidorm Qualifier and had some difficulties breaking down a solid Belarus defence, but eventually got a first goal in the second half which gave Amarelle and co the confidence they needed to entertain the crowd present at Benidorm's "Playa de Levante" and more important, take three points into day 2 of the Benidorm showdown.
