Fourth of July Celebrations in Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta has a unique international ambience where foreign residents and Mexican locals have developed a very special and seldom-found cultural acceptance. Traditional Mexican festivals and holidays blend in with Saint Patrick's Day celebrations, Canada Day and 4th of July picnics, which makes everyone feel "at home."
So if you find yourself in the Banderas Bay area this July 4th, you'll find lots of great food and fun at restaurants, special events and 4th of July parties all around the bay.
Daiquiri Dick's: The chefs at Daiquiri Dick's have created a special Summer Sizzle menu for the 4th of July weekend - a backyard BBQ with International flair offering diners their choice of three tantalizing tapas for just $269 pesos (dinner only.) Back Alley Steakhouse: In celebration of America's Independence, Back Alley Steakhouse is offering Red Hot specials - 40% off of everything on their menu on July 4th, and 30% off all steaks on July 5th. Back Alley Steakhouse is located at 225 Francisco I. Madero, 223-3560.
Ritmos Beach Cafe: Celebrate the 4th of July at Ritmos Beach Café! From 1-7:30 pm DJ Josel will be spinning all of your favorite dance tunes from the Palapa Stage on Playa los Muertos. Puerto Vallarta's American Legion and US Consulate are hosting several July 4th parties around the bay. American Legion Members will be at all locations, so stop by one (or more) of the following locations for what is sure to be a good time, while helping a great organization that supports veterans and the community.
Steve's Sports Bar: Hot dogs, hamburgers, chili, and lots of fun and games. Proceeds from the hot dogs and hamburgers sales will go to support the American Legion Post 14. Located at Basilio Badillo #286 Col. Emiliano Zapata, (322) 222-0256.
PV Beach Club and Barracuda: Beach volleyball and a good old American style barbecue. Located at 1290 Paraguay, downtown behind the Buenaventura Hotel, PV Beach Club, (322)-168-1281 and the Barracuda, 222-4034.
Golf: Best ball scramble at Field of Dreams Golf Course near Guayabitos. Best ball tournament starts at 11 am (Nayarit time.) The fee is $150 pesos.
