The Stimulation Room at the Refugio is always packed with eager little hands, feet and hearts beating with anticipation of the wonderful and exciting things about to happen today.
When the children enter the stimulation room they can be sure that they will be involved in lots of excitement and learning. The stimulation of their thoughts, activities, language development and, most importantly, their imaginations is always foremost every day.
Thanks to CEMEX, its partners, local residents and volunteers, this small, usually overcrowded room is undergoing a great and much-needed make over. On June 13th the first stone was placed by Madre Marie and the construction began.
Everyone was there for the festivities, arranged by volunteers Gill and Maria, and we are all eagerly awaiting the completion of this great new project that will have lasting consequences for all our children.
