Big Fish and Bigger Jackpots Rule the Bloodydecks.com 2nd Annual Yellowtail Shoot Out!

Bloodydecks.com's Second Annual Yellowtail Shootout presented by Fishdope.com was hosted on San Diego Bay over the June 21st and 22nd weekend. The event was a huge success with 109 boats and 374 anglers competing for cash and prizes totaling over $70,000 USD.
The first fish of the contest was brought to the dock at 7:40 am by Team Fish Eyed Fools, earning them the "Navionics $2,500 Dash for Cash" prize.
Coming in at 3rd place was Team Joy Ride with a 32.4lb fish that earned them $4,000 cash and $3,000 in prizes.
Team Wealth Guru's weighed in a 34.1 lb beauty that was good for 2nd place and $6,000 cash and $3,100 in prizes.
Besting all others was Team Short of a Bakers Dozen that brought in the 1st place yellowtail weighing 36.8 lbs winning $8,500 in cash and $3800 in prizes.
The big payouts came from the $100, $300 and $500 jackpots where Team Short of a Bakers Dozen nabbed the $100 jackpot, adding another $5,490 for a total team winning of $17,000. Team Wealth Guru's took the $300 and $500 jackpots and added $17,820 for a total payout of $26,920!
Bloodydecks.com President Ali Hussainy was quoted as saying "We were absolutely stoked by the participation and overall success of the event. The new venue allowed us to present a tournament unlike any other on the west coast."
