Sought after for it's warm winter climate, Yelapa is a small coastal village near the southern point of Banderas Bay that can be reached only by taking a water taxi from Puerto Vallarta, giving it a very informal, laid-back ambiance that's perfect for that "kick back, relax, and do nothing" beach vacation.
The most popular activity on Yelapa is doing nothing at all, but if you're feeling adventurous, there are many things to see and do. The golden sand beach is a superb place to snorkel, parasail, or just relax under palapa with a cold drink or some delicious authentic Mexican food.

From now until October 11th, your $2 USD donation gives you a raffle ticket number with the possibility of winning a free week's stay in one of Yelapa's lovely tropical lodgings. Four winners will be chosen, so the more raffle tickets you buy the better chance you have of winning!
Proceeds from our 2008 raffle go to support Yelapa's Casa de la Imaginación Cultural Center. The Casa has been in operation now for 4 years. Through donations of funds, materials, and volunteer help from all over the world, children experience art, ecology education, music, dance, song, yoga, drama, enhanced cultural awareness and have a home in the center of the village to grow and thrive together.
