News from Around Banderas Bay | February 2009  Puerto Vallarta 2009 Mardi Gras Parade PVScene.com/PVNN Click image to enlarge There will be a parade celebrating Carnaval Puerto Vallarta 2009, on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 10 pm. The parade will start and end at Club Mañana and move along Venustiano Carranza, Olas Altas, Pulpito and Lázaro Cardenas. We urge all legitimate organizations and businesses to participate in what we hope will be an annual Puerto Vallarta event. Already we have several participants from Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara. The theme of the parade will be "Celebration of Life" and participants should theme their entry. This is going to be a great event! Pre-registration is required and a small fee will be charged; the fee for non-profits is waived. For registration or information visit: ClubManana.com Possible parade entries include cars, floats, people holding banners, and marching bands etc. The parade is open to any legitimate organization that wants to participate. The entry fee of $250 pesos will be charged to cover administration costs and to ensure the integrity of the parade. This fee is waived for non-profit organizations.
