Gala Vallarta 2009 to be Held at New Puerto Vallarta Convention Center

Gala Vallarta, now in its 17th year, will be hosted in Puerto Vallarta's brand new Convention Center from March 25th-27th, 2009. This annual industry trade show will be the very first of many great events to happen in this new facility.
On behalf of all local Tourist Industry members, an invitation is made to all local and foreign visitors to participate in this event. This year, as in prior years, some hotel chains from Riviera Nayarit will take part in this very important event in order to take advantage of the presence of domestic and international tour operators, mainly those coming from the United States.
Some days ago, according to local papers, the company in charge of the final interior construction, such as electrical and Internet installation, water and drainage piping and the water mirror in the main entrance finally concluded their works, giving a green light to the proper usage of this facilities.
Even though this is the first event for the Puerto Vallarta Convention Center, it will not be getting any major events until the second semester of this year, when congresses, symposiums and conventions will take place in this new location. The new convention center can hold up to five thousand people, comfortably seated.
