Lorena Ochoa Promotes Puerto Vallarta

As part of the 'Vive Mexico' campaign initiated by President Felipe Calderón to promote and reactivate the country's tourism industry after the recent international economic and health situations, the world's #1 LPGA player, Lorena Ochoa, will be in Puerto Vallarta this Saturday.
The public is invited to come out and watch her play at the Vista Vallarta Jack Nicklaus Golf Course on Saturday May 30th, 2009 at 10 am. There will also be a golf clinic hosted by Rafael Alarcon (Lorena's Coach) starting at 9:15 am on the driving range.
At 5:30 pm, Lorena will be at the Los Arcos Amphitheater in downtown Puerto Vallarta, where she will be named an official Tourist Ambassador by the Jalisco Secretary of Tourism. As this event is designed to promote tourism in Puerto Vallarta, thousands of T-shirts will be distributed sporting the Secretariat of Tourism's new publicity campaign slogan. |
