In recognition of Mexico's Independence on September 16th people are asked to wear red and green to all events this month.
Wednesday September 16th was Mexican Independence Day, and the BanderasNews Report team was at the central plaza to capture all the festivities. Precision Productions was invited by President Javier Bravo to join him and his guests in celebrating the occasion. He was gracious enough to grant us an exclusive interview.
Also at the Gala was incoming president of Puerto Vallarta "Chava" Salvador Gonzalez, who also granted us an exclusive interview.
On September 19 from 6-8 pm The Vallarta Yacht Club in Nuevo Vallarta will be hosting the "International Talk Like a Pirate Party" and book signing. For more information contact Doug Danielson at (322) 225-3181.
September 22 at 10 am El Arrayán Restaurant will be offering cooking classes with Carmen Porras. Students will have the opportunity to not only learn to cook some delectable dishes, but will go to the local market to select the ingredients for their creations. The Puerto Vallarta Jewish community and Chabad invite you to come and celebrate Rosh Hashanah on September 18th, 19th and 20th at the Peninsula Condominiums, 2nd tower, on the ground floor.
Every Thursday and Sunday starting at 5 pm, there will be live Mexican music and dancing in the City Hall Plaza.
