On September 22 the El Arrayán Restaurant had a Cooking classes with Carmen Porras. Students had the opportunity to not only learn to cook but to taste some delectable dishes, they also went to the local market to select the ingredients for their creations. BanderasNews Report was there to cover this gourmets' delight.
September 25th thru September 27th from 10 am to 9 pm, Plaza Caracol will be hosting a Medical Tourism Expo. Medical Tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors of the tourism market here in Puerto Vallarta. Precision Productions will be covering this event and will bring you all the sights and sounds of this event in a future episode of the BanderasNews Report.
From September 26th through October 4th, The Riviera Nayarit Classic Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Canadian Professional Golf Tour group (CANTOUR) will be held at the Pacifico Golf Course in Punta Mita.
By hosting this event, Riviera Nayarit continues to establish itself as a top destination for golf, welcoming golf professionals from all over the world to its championship fairways vying for the $125,000 dollar first place prize. September through December are the months when baby turtles hatch and swim out to sea. During the marine turtle's incubation period, many Banderas Bay area hotels participate in programs that are involved in protecting and releasing the new born turtles.
