Freddy Castillo, from Yucatan who will be guest of honor.
Mexico City - Rising Mexican boxing star, Oscar Arenas, is seeking a new rival for his Oct. 30 match after original rival Juan Sanchez dropped out, promoter Francisco Calderon Lopez said in a Sunday statement.

The statement said that Arenas, who has won 17 of his last 18 fights, is likely to face one of the three other Mexican fighters: Mario Sanchez from Tabasco, Uriel Barrera from Campeche and Didier Basulto from Yucatan.

Sanchez, a super featherweight from eastern Mexico state Tabasco, was hit by a car during training, the statement said.

Arenas is fighting on the same bill as Antonio Lozada, who has won all of his 19 matches and Alejandro Rubio who has won all eight of his. All three are managed by Lozada's father, also called Antonio Lozada.

Eastern Mexico is home to many world class boxers, including twice world flyweight champion Freddy Castillo, from Yucatan who will be guest of honor at the Oct. 30 bash.
