| | They bought cheap electronic goods and attached brand-name logos to sell them as originals. - Carlo Ferrara | | | | Piedras Negras, Mexico - Police in the Mexican border city of Piedras Negras say they have arrested three Italians accused of selling counterfeit electronic devices.
Coahuila state prosecutors say that police detained the two men and a woman as they were loading a car with boxes containing 21 video cameras, 47 music players and three laptops.
Prosecutors say 58-year-old Carlo Ferrara of Naples told investigators they bought cheap electronic goods and attached brand-name logos to sell them as originals.
Also arrested were 35-year-old Corvino Gianluca and 27-year-old Auriola Vicenzo.
Police didn't say where the three bought the devices or where they ended up selling them.
