Mexico 2009 Sports Prize-Giving Ceremony

This week, President Calderón awarded the 2009 National Sports Prize in the Hondonada of the official Los Pinos Residence.
On the basis of Articles 16, 19 and 58 of the Law of Civil Awards, Incentives and Rewards, and as part of the 2009 Edition of the Announcement of the 2009 Edition National Sports Award.
The following sportspersons have been awarded the following prizes due to their activity and interest in promoting sport both nationally and internationally:
Field I Outstanding Performance in Any Sport
• Amateur Sport: Paola Milagros Espinosa Sánchez; Joaquín Capilla y Pérez Monton and Heraclio Éder Sánchez Terán.
• Professional Sport: Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo.
• Paralympic Sport: Aarón Gordían Martinez.
• Trainer Category: Rafael Alarcón Menchaca, Lorena Ochoa's golf trainer.
Field II. Sports Promotion
• Antonio Argüelles Díaz González.
