Kids Love Fishing in Puerto Vallarta Adam Kerr - PVNN January 03, 2010
As part of our Vallarta for Kids video series, Adam and his Grandpa Phil take us to Los Muertos Beach Pier on the south side of Puerto Vallarta for an exciting day of fishing.
My name is Adam and I live in Puerto Vallarta with my family. One of my favorite adventures is to fish from the pier at Los Muertos Beach with my Grandpa Phil. We have fished here together for many years, ever since I could walk and hold my own fishing rod.
We have lots of friends who like to fish here too. Everyone helps each other and when Grandpa throws his cast net, he tries to catch enough tiny live bait fish so everyone can have some, even the little kids. If we catch a fish that is good to eat, we usually take it to a little beach restaurant and have it cooked for lunch.
At Los Muertos pier it doesn't matter what kind of fishing gear you use, fancy fishing rods and reels from the sporting goods store or bleach bottles wrapped with fishing line, it all works to catch fish and it is all SO MUCH FUN!
