During 10 days of excitement, the Rio Cuale Festival will deliver a unique program of significant national and international artists, while maintaining close ties with the local community by bringing the city together with an array of opportunities for the participation and involvement of locals and visitors alike.
| Take a tour of last year's festival. (Philippo Lo Grande) | | Festival organizers are aware of their social obligations to better the life of our community and the flora and fauna around us, so there will also be ecology workshops and art recycling demostrations. This year's festival is focusing on leaving a postive mark on the community that you, too, can be a part of by bringing a book and supporting the Kid's Literature Gathering Center.
The first part of this year's festival has already begun with Expo Vallarta 2010, A comprehensive show of paintings and sculptures by 44 local artists at the Naval Museum on the Malecón. Another outstanding event is the Clown Workshop by Won Israel, a student of Marcell Marceau on the 23rd.
