Jesus Rodriguez Beard. Nevertheless, the 'En Bici por Vallarta' Sunday Ride WILL take place on April 18th, just a few blocks away. All of scheduled activities will take place at El Parque Lineal del Pitillal in front of the Soriana supermarket, (accesible from Av. Grandes Lagos or Av. Francisco Villa.) The classes will be held as originally scheduled: Yoga 9:30 am, Zumba 10:30 am, Tai Chi 11:30.
We are pleased to announce that the 3rd Mundo Ceiba A.C. Biking for Vallarta Sunday Ride, 'En Bici por Vallarta' is scheduled to take place on April 18th. We invite you to join us and be a part of this movement that seeks to promote cycling as a form of mobility in our city.
Mundo Ceiba is a non-profit Asociación Civil Ecológica that promotes biking as a healthy alternative for transportation. Due to the recent construction boom in Puerto Vallarta, many of our natural resources that are key to the region's biodiversity are being destroyed, which is why it is so important for everyone to do everything they can to protect and regenerate our environment.
Biking is without a doubt clean transportation which also helps to alleviate the traffic problems in our city. Taking the first step to adapt bicycling as a form of daily transportation is not easy, it takes a great effort to break the barriers of a culture that does not cycle. Many people think that the idea is crazy, or minimize the importance of making this activity a part of daily life.
On April 18th from 9 am to 1 pm, a 2 km circuit on Fluvial Vallarta that begins at Av. Jesus Rodriguez Barba and the corner of Fluvial Vallarta Gardens will be open exclusively for bikes, skates, skate boards, scooters and all other means of clean transportation, so bring your whole family and enjoy a day of love for the environment with us!
There will also be a Yoga class by Davannayoga, a Zumba class led by Shanti Studio, Tai Chi with El Árbol del Yoga, and Radiofónico Pincelazos will be transmitting a live radio broadcast and offering eco-themed educational activities for children.
Join us for a fun-filled day that promotes exercise, ecological awareness and clean transportation on the streets of our beautiful city!
