The atmosphere was casual, the open air commerce enticing, the goods fresh, and the comradery contagious.
Dozens of vendors selling a wide range of locally grown fruits and vegetables, including certified organic produce, as well as flowers and plants, fresh baked goods, specialty foods and handcrafted items set up their stands at the new Paradise Community Center, (located at Pulpito #127, across from Coco's Restaurant) to the delight of residents and visitors alike.
Everything sold at the market is either grown, baked, canned, pickled, roasted or hand crafted by the seller, which not only helps local farmers stay in business and preserve our natural resources, but also gives everyone the opportunity to support area businesses while sampling and learning about local foods and products.
Only the freshest and finest fruits and vegetables, herbs and plants, preserves, coffee, organic products, baked goods (including diabetic and gluten free) and crafts are available for sale. Come browse the colorful tables showcasing unique homemade products all fresh from the oven or field, and you'll understand why the Vallarta Old Town Farmers' Market is THE place to meet, eat, shop and stroll every Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm.
If you have a product that you would like to sell and are interested in becoming a vendor, please email oldtownfm(at)hotmail.com. Please include your contact information and details about your product.
