Border Angels' Baja Quake Relief Enrique Morones - borderangels.org April 05, 2010
On April 4, Easter Sunday, Baja California and Imperial Valley suffered a 7.2 earthquake. Damages are still being evaluated as there will be a series of aftershocks for the next few days. In the meantime, as we have done in the past, we have set up a special account to help our neighbors in their time of need.
To make a monetary donation, you may write a check to Border Angels (please put Baja Earthquake in memo section) as 100% of these donations will go to help affected areas. We will also be collecting supplies, clothes, non perishable food and water at the new "Angels Haven" location in Lemon Grove.
The UUs of the South Bay will be accepting donations in Border Angels' behalf at 970 Broadway Ave. Suite 104, in Chula Vista. The number to schedule a donation drop is (619) 258-0169.
For monetary tax-deductible donations, send checks to: BORDER ANGELS, PO BOX 86598, San Diego CA 92138 (write Baja Earthquake in memo). Our tax ID is: 01-0777554.
For supplies, clothes, non perishable food and water please email us so we can give you specifics on drop off schedules and location. We will be working with Baja officials to deliver goods to the most needy.
Thank you again for all your support and blessings,
Enrique Morones BorderAngels.org PO Box 86598, San Diego CA 92138 (619) 269-7865
