Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada
Mexico City — One of Mexico's most famous reputed drug lords tells a news magazine that he lives in fear of being caught.

Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, believed to control the Sinaloa drug cartel with Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, tells Proceso magazine that he has fled the Mexican Army at least four times.

Proceso's founder said in an article Sunday that he met with Zambada after the alleged kingpin offered a rare interview in which he admitted, "I'm terrified of being incarcerated."

The story didn't say where the interview took place, nor where Zambada has fled the military.

Guzman and Zambada are Mexico's two most famous fugitives, with a $2 million reward for information leading to their capture. The Mexican government had no immediate comment.
