With only three weeks left of the PVRPV Puerto Vallarta Summer Bowling League, the competition is getting hot! If you missed all the fun this summer, be sure to sign up for the new PVRPV league, which will bowl at Collage Club on Wednesday nights from 7 pm until around 9 pm, starting on October 6th, 2010.
Like the Summer Bowling League, the cost per person will be only $115 pesos per week, which includes your games and rental shoes. We will also continue to hold the 50/50 raffle each week to raise money for our final party and prizes.
Nine teams have already signed for the new league, but we still have room for another 5 teams of 4 bowlers, and some teams still need players, so if you'd like to Have a Ball with your friends and co-workers on Wednesday nights, send me an email at tim(at)pvrpv.com with the full name and email address of each person interested in joining.
PVRPV Puerto Vallarta Summer Bowling League July 14 Highlights:
Last night people seemed to be having fun especially with the music chosen by Edson. The YMCA song seemed to be the most popular!
• Victor from Casa Cupula scored 158 and has moved up to 4th place. Victor, are you planning on joining the New League in October? You certainly would be a great asset to any team.
• Norma, our new player from Pin Yaddas, scored a 175! Wow, Norma maybe you should look into playing full time...
• Leighton from Split and Swallow got a 171 last night. Some bowlers are really improving...
• Diego from The Drink Team, with an average of 111, bowled a 150 last night. Now I understand why you were appointed the Captain for the New League.
Good Luck and let’s have fun over the next 3 weeks. Remember to continue to buy your 50/50 tickets. None of this money is for us but will be used for the final party, which is scheduled to take place on August 11th at Café Roma. More details to follow, so stay tuned...
