Diego Cadena, Adan Hernandez and Dylan Southworth traveled along the shores of Mexico with the production crew of 'Rumors,' an independently-produced documentary film about surfing.
Rumor has it that Diego Cadena, Adan Hernandez and Dylan Southworth, three talented surfers from Sayulita, are starring in a documentary about surfing along the shores of Mexico. Other participating surfers include Oscar Moncada and David Rutherford.

The independently-produced documentary film, entitled "Rumors," is based on a trip along the shores of Mexico in search of the perfect wave, during which producers Alistair Calderon and Mark Kronemeyer follow the most talented surfers in the country, camera in hand.

"Rumors" is a documentary that seeks to promote surfing and Mexico in a positive way. Production began during 2009 in Puerto Escondido.

"Puerto Escondido is always a good place to start. We stayed there for a few days before Oscar insisted that we move on. After several weeks of epic surf up and down the Oaxaca coast, we were exhausted, so we returned home. Shortly thereafter, we received an email from Diego Cadena telling us it was time to hit the road again, this time to the state of Nayarit, a place very rarely featured in films. After almost falling off a cliff we understood why, but after we saw the waves, we realized it was well worth it," the producers explain on their website.

Future filming locations include the beaches of Michoacan and Guerrero, where some of Mexico's most perfect waves are found. Although not confirmed, a local screening of the film will be scheduled once the documentary is completed.
