Mexico City - A week after the passage of Hurricane Karl through Veracruz, President Calderón is conducting various activities in the state.

Friday morning, the President sent off 30 trucks with bottled water for the population that has been affected.

He is conducting a tour of San Pancho, in the municipality of La Antigua and later on today, will fly over the damage caused by Hurricane Karl in Cotaxtla. He will deliver funds for the Temporary Employment Program and then direct a Damage Assessment Meeting.

At the beginning of this week, the President overflew the places affected by the hurricane, toured the municipality of Medellín de Bravo in the community of Puente de Moreno and lastly, directed a meeting with the Governor of Veracruz, Mayors, Secretaries of Federal and State Government and commanders of the military and naval zone to directly supervise the damage caused by the hurricane.
