To Wrap Up the Year, Riviera Nayarit is Featured in Online Media RivieraNayarit.com go to original November 29, 2010
| The strong brand positioning generated after being featured in blogs, websites and social websites has encouraged the CVB to join new initiatives with the CPTM to draw the attention of digital journalists. | | Blackbook is an aspirational publication in the purest style of trend magazines that were once available in the most luxurious apartments of the world - except for the fact that this is an online publication. Moscow, Chicago, India, Ireland and soon Riviera Nayarit are some of the exclusive destinations featured in their travel section, which has around 800,000 unique visitors per month.
On December 1 - 6, Jimmy Im, one of the magazine's main contributors will visit Riviera Nayarit together with four other renowned digital journalists. They will come looking for stories, images, food, sights, stories and anything else that they can share with their followers, not only through the digital publications, but also in the different social networks in which they collaborate.
Online journalism generates a high exposure for consumers, contributing strongly to brand positioning. This is the reason why the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Riviera Nayarit and the Mexican Council for the Promotion of Tourism have organized a trip so that five of the largest digital publications in the United States can become acquainted with Riviera Nayarit.
Jimmy Im, a contributor for Blackbook and Zinc Magazines, Teresa Plowright from About.com, Madelyn Miller, founder of The Travel Lady, Jenna Blumenfeld, writer for FarewellsTravels.com, and Rowland Stiteler, Webmaster and editor of AirportMeetings.net will tour Riviera Nayarit to experience a destination where luxury is combined with privileged natural settings.
The promotional and public relations efforts carried out by Riviera Nayarit's CVB are possible because of the joint work being done with the Mexican Council for the Promotion of Tourism (CPTM) and through the support of Governor Ney Gonzalez Sanchez, who has placed tourism as a key economic activity in the State Development Plan.
